Ingrediants:
1 Ashwinder Egg
7 Rose thorns
pinch of Dried Peppermint
1 scope of crushed Moonstone powder
4 petals of a Belladonna flower

Recognizable by its distinctive mother-of-pearl sheen and by the fact that its steam rises in characteristic spirals. The potion smells differently to different people according to what attracts them.

Harry Smells: treacle tart, the woody smell of a broomstick handle, and something flowery he thought he might have smelled at the Burrow (HBP9)

Hermione smells: freshly mown grass, new parchment and Ron’s hair(HBP9)

I smell - rain, old/new books, forest and that woodsy male smell i cannot seem to place a name.

What do you smell?

jasmine/honeysuckle flowers; coffee; the clean, wholesome smell of the outdoors after it rains

I wish I knew what animal my patronus would be…

We shouldn’t be asking ourselves if we’re wasting time watching T.V. Instead, watch T.V. like you read books. Evaluate the stories, the characters and the themes. Take into account the medium. How do the writers and producers work around the constraints of advertising, 42 minute episodes and sweeps? If we allow television the same dynamic evaluation system we give to films and novels, it can be just as enriching to our perceptions of story.

Sara’s awesome HPA blog post about how television doesn’t actually rot your brain, especially not if you don’t let it. (via thehpalliance)
